Adur, euskal mitologiaren izate bat da, indar jainkotiarra. Zoria banatzen duena da, zoriona edo zoritxarra. Bere indarrak gure alde jarri nahi ditugunean otoi egiten zaio. Berez, zoria bera Adur izenez baittabe ezagutzen dugu, astroak modu egokian lerrokaturik egotea deitzen duguna, edo jainkotarren dohaina.

Adur es un ser mitológico vasco, una fuerza divina, posiblemente un dios. Es aquél que reparte la dicha, tanto la buena suerte como la mala. Se le invoca cuando queremos que sus fuerzas se pongan de nuestro lado. De hecho, incluso se conoce como el Adur, a la suerte en sí, lo que vulgarmente se conoce como alineación correcta de los astros, o una gracia divina.

Adur is a basque mythological being, a divine force, possibly a god. Is the one who shares out fortune, good fortune and bad fortune. We appeal to him when we want his power in our side.
