Mendiko deialdi handien itxarote uneak gogorrak die, zure buruan dagoeneko gertatu bait direlako, baina mendian hori ez da inoiz nahiko. Azkenean egiaztatu behar dituzu gauzak eta itzuli bebai kontatzeko. Egin nahi duguna ez da existitzen, egin nahiko genukeena ez da existitzen, ezta ere gure ametsetan egiten doguna, soilik egin duguna existitzen da. Rider batentzat gauza bera, jauziak, birak, lerroak,… Buruan die, baina antzeztokia egokia izan behar da eta egitasmoa edo ekimean gauzatua. Batzuetan bakarrik aukera bakarra dau eta jasaten dugun presioa oso handia. Une handi hoiek betikotzeko gai izateak harrotasunez eta grinez betetzen nau. Itxaropena bere amaiera heltzen ari dela dirudi…

Los momentos de espera a las grandes citas de montaña son duras, porque en tu mente ya ha ocurrido todo, pero en la montaña eso nunca es suficiente, al final hay que demostrarlo y regresar para contarlo. No existe lo que queremos hacer, no existe lo que quisieramos hacer, ni siquiera existe lo que soñamos hacer, sólo existe lo que hemos hecho. Para un rider ocurre lo mismo, saltos, curvas, lineas,… Están en la mente, pero el escenario debe ser el adecuado y la secuencia debe ser materializada. Algunas veces sólo existe una oportunidad y la presión supura por todos los poros. Inmortalizar los grandes momentos de cada uno es algo que a mí me llena de orgullo y pasión. La espera parece que llega a su fín…

When waiting for the big dates in the mountain use to be hard, because in our minds everything has already happened, but in the mountains this is never enough, finally you have to demonstrate it and you have to come back home to tell it. What we wanna do does not exist, what we would like doing does not exist, even what we dream to do does not exist, there only exists what we have done.
